High School Credit Transfer

Concordia Ontario High School will accept credit transfer from qualified institutions inside and outside of Canada. If you have previous high school records of some credits or semesters, you can submit them to us for review.

*Maximum possible credit transfer to Concordia OSSD: 24 credits

*OSSD is approved by the Canadian Province of Ontario as a high school diploma. OSSD credit is transferable to any province in Canada. You should still check beforehand with the high school in your region regarding OSSD credits.

How do they finish 40 hours of community service if the student is taking an online program?

You can submit any documents proving the volunteer or community services that you have done (School events, local service, community volunteer, etc.)

Does OSSD help prepare for the Provincial Literacy Test?

Yes, we will give you academic help in preparation for the test. The Provincial Literacy Test is pass or fail basis.

How many study hours are required per credit (course)?

The average study hours per credit(course) is 110 hours.

What does the ESL course look like?

It is a blended learning experience: 40% live course / 60% self-study (Lot of homework) You will be trained in four (4) major components of English: Speaking and Listening through live course / Reading and Writing through articles summaries.
